Olajumoke Omoniyi Oduwole is a graduate of the Faculty of Law, University of Lagos with a Master of Laws (LL.M) from the University of Cambridge and a doctorate degree in International Trade and Development from Stanford University. She began her career as an investment banker and moved on to become a lecturer in the Faculty of Law, University of Lagos. In 2016, Jumoke was appointed Senior Special Assistant to the President on Trade, Industry and Investment and currently sits as the Coordinator of the Enabling Business Environment Secretariat (EBES) and the Secretary, Presidential Enabling Business Environment Council.
Under Jumoke’s watch, Nigeria has moved up 24 places in the World Bank’s “Doing Business” rankings and daily developments are being recorded in the ease of obtaining credit facilities for SMEs, getting a visa and the registration of companies and other business vehicles. Jumoke’s passion for Nigeria’s development in Industry, Trade and Investment has translated into results that have revamped Nigeria’s business environment.
