Tueday Toast: Oluwatobiloba Amusan

Oluwatobiloba Amusan, a 20 year old Nigerian athlete who made history at the recently concluded Commonwealth Games by becoming the first Nigerian athlete to claim the gold medal in the 100m Hurdles.  She is one of only 8 other Nigerian athletes who won gold at the games, bringing the total medal tally to 24. Her young age makes her historical feat even more impressive.  Her success at the Commonwealth games caps her impressive performances at previous competitions where she has represented Nigeria and won several medals.

We wish her the best in her athletic career and hope that she can be an inspiration to young athletes across Nigeria
